Ever since the emergence of Phantom Star mutated plants and animals on earth into deadly monsters called beast gods, humanity has been on the brink of being wiped out. It was only when explorers who traveled to Phantom Star returned with formidable power that humans were able to start fighting back. Like countless others, Jiang Kai also traveled to Phantom Star in hopes of earning great strength. However, after overcoming brutal conditions and bloodthirsty monsters, he discovers that his profession is a gambler, a rare job that is not granted so easily.
